INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs chicken pieces

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp kosher salt (0r 1/2 tsp table salt)

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Make the seasoning paste by mixing oil, salt, pepper and spices together.

  3. Using your hands or a pastry brush, coat chicken pieces with the oil and spice mixture.

  4. Arrange chicken pieces on the lined baking tray in a single layer

  5. Bake uncovered until internal temperature is 165F (about 40 min)

  6. Remove chicken from the oven and baste/brush the pieces with the pan juices with a clean pastry brush.
